Beijing is the capital of the most populous country in the world, the People’s Republic of China. With a population of 21.5 million people, it is the nation’s second-largest city after Shanghai. It was also the seat of the Ming and Qing dynasty emperors until the formation of a republic in 1911. Beijing is the political, educational and cultural centre of the country and as such it is rich in historical sites and important government and cultural institutions.

Ming Tombs: A large complex of mausoleums for 13 emperors of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644).

Mutianyu Great Wall: One of the best sections for hiking, less crowded and popular for its beautiful scenery all the year round.

Tour length: 8 hours

  1. Pick up from your hotel in the early morning and transfer to famous Ming Tombs to enjoy the only Underground Palace – Dingling. And after that, visit a Jade Carving Factory for about 45 minutes. 

  2. Have a typical Chinese lunch. 

  3. After lunch, transfer and appreciate the most beautiful Mutianyu Great Wall! 

  4. After the Mutianyu Great Wall, visit the last destination, the Olympic Stadium. You will have roughly 45 minutes to take pictures outside. If you are interested in the interior of the stadium, tour guide will assist you in buying the tickets so that you can see the interior whilst the guide waits outside. 

  5. At last, transfer to your hotel. End of tour!
